First, We not guarantee that this tricks to find Someone IP address via Yahoo Messenger would works for you or not because it really difficult to determine whether someone is using dynamic IP or not or even using Proxy.
Finding IP Address of chat users in Yahoo Messenger could be problematic. But, its oke, just let it go. The Idea was simple: build Peer to Peer (that means IP to IP) connection between you and your target. Then start to analyze the connection by using command prompt window internet statistic command: netstat -n or nestat -a
Then all you had to do just analyze the statistic and determine which one is the IP address of your friend.
